Anatomy Practical (DR - Dissection Room) today was awesome!!! It was a review of FM1001 concerning the upper and lower limbs in preparation for our spots exam next Tuesday. We spent our time prodding, poking and digging the prosections then rearranging the muscles back according to their layers like a jigsaw puzzle.
I had a ball of a time walking around pointing at a specific muscle and testing anyone standing around by going "what's that?".
Have to get first honours for this winter exam.
Anyway, my professor at clinical practice tutorial session this morning on jaundice (yellow discolouration of the skin): "if a patient comes to you with this condition, assuming it isn't because she got a sun-tan, what would you call this?"
I couldn't help but explode into loud laughter when she got to 'sun-tan'.
